    Default sewing machines for sale

Lots of sewing machines for sale right now (May 11, 2014) on this site:

    http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/

They seem to be reasonably priced - I did not notice any "ridiculous" ads

There was a Singer 403 for $70. Looked like it was in good shape, there were also sergers, home and industrial, and a couple of commercial embroidery machines.

    Much better selection than usual.

CL can be a good place to buy machines that are in great shape, too. Always check to see if all the parts are there and make sure the machine sews a nice stitch - check the zig zag, too. Servicing can be an additional cost when you buy one.

Dont forget to check local sew and vacs. And I have found some at the goodwill, salvation army, and St Vincent DePaul. I fix them and resell.

I saw those too. Whoever it is has many sewing machines listed - I wonder if they purchase them and fix them up. I sort of like to look at the ones that are privately for sale....just for fun!
