    I was taught that, when you sew long strips together, you should alternate ends you starting at.

    I agree with both tips given, use a walking foot and alternate starting point. I made a queen chinese coin a while back and didn't have any problems using these methods.

    I love using strips and I have made several tops from them.
    I never met a quilt that I did not like.I go to pieces regularly.
