It does make free-motion quilting easier. The quilt moves more freely with less drag.

I remember another thread here somewhere about someone asking about this stuff. I had never heard of it and had to Google it to see what it was.

The Good news: it makes the quilt much easier to move while you are quilting.

The BAD news: it doesn't make you an expert quilter! :D :D :D
