Patches & Stitches is a brick and mortar quilt (and needlework) shop in Huntsville, AL. We were visiting family there in September and to get an afternoon of "much needed solitary sewing time", the shop let me set up my machine and sew in their classroom using their mats and ironing station. They don't have any quilting items online but they do have a terrific fabric in the store-even a variety of Auburn and Alabama fabrics with coordinating cottons from a lot of the major quilt lines. Yes, I did leave with a nice chevron that will match my favorite team fabric, a handful of FQs, scraps chosen from their large scrap basket and Best Press, too. The front of the shop is a sea of extensive needlework selections. So if you are ever in the area, check this shop out! I am not affiliated with this shop but they were so kind (Southern Hospitality abounds there) that I thought I would give them credit!
