Just noticed on HSN today the Singer 160 is on sale for $349.95 with free shipping and handling. This is for the value-added bundle with the extra accessories. There is no included bag or books like in the launch in January. If you sign up for their email, you can get a 15% off coupon for first time users emailed to you. Or if you use Upromise you can get a coupon code for 15%. This would bring it to just under $300. I know the machine isn't for everyone, but for those that were thinking about it...

The $329 is for the standard accessories bundle. The value added bundle for $349 is for the value added bundle which includes additional presser feet like the fringe foot, flower foot, etc.

Yes, that is the machine (vintage look but computerized). The coupon is from HSN and is emailed to you once you sign up for their email list. It is for first time customers only so it can only be used once. The Upromise code requires that you go through their site (college savings site) first then links you to the HSN site. Upromise code is 15OFFNEWQ212. Upromise also gives back 5% to your college savings account with an additional 3% if you use their credit card.
