On The Quilt Show there is a Bernina segment on making Skinny Minis. http://www.thequiltshow.com/os/bernina_videos.php These are fast and easy projects. I can image them in Christmas colors as bell pulls or long table runners with placemats on either side.

Those are cute. What bothered me about the video is that she never pressed any of her seams and didn't even mention pressing them. And was saying how this was a good beginner project. I feel pressing seams is very important!

She was finger pressing.....I do that all the time. I hate having to press with an iron and never do until I am ready to sandwich. Everyone has their ways I guess...lol.

This was a real teaser . The video sound and picture were way off and it didn't show everything. I would really like to make these but there was no sizing or showing how to put it all together. Don't know if it was just my PC that screwed up or what. Cute Idea though. Would like the pattern.

Thank you for that link. I think I can do that one and couldn't you join several together for matching placemats?

I noticed that she didn't iron press too. It worked for her though. I seem to need to press every seam as I go. She also didn't mention the size of her strips. They looked like they were either 3" or 3 1/2". What do you think? What a cute, easy proj.
