Default special offer from Natiional Sewing Circle

I called to cancel my annual membership in National Sewing Circle today, the premium was going to renew at something like $20 monthly. When asked why I was canceling and I said too expensive they said they had a special running for $7.30 for an entire year. I accepted that, of course, but couldn't believe they can offer an entire year for $7.30 when if I hadn't called the premium would have been $240. Go figure.

I don't pay for anything anymore because there are so many places on the internet where things are just plain FREE!

"The squeaky wheel." I've done the same thing with my cable service. Lots of good pricing for NEW customers but nothing for the older ones. I usually get a substantial reduction for 6 months. Then I call again. Doesn't hurt to try.

I had a renewal the other day for one of the sewing or quilting groups and the price was reasonable but in small print this was to renew again next year automatically. I didn't renew as I don't want anything anymore that renews without me being the one to decide.

Even at Dunkin Donuts, I get a bag of donut holes, (munchkins) for free.
You go girl!!!
