SR Harris Fabric Outlet opens in Burnsville, MN

I've been wanting to go to SR Harris in Brooklyn Park, MN for a few years now, but it just hasn't worked out. There are a few wonderful quilt shops nearby, plus JoAnn's, Hancock's, several resale stores and there are tons of yard sales in the summer. Our Mill End stores closed last year.

I'm shopping from my stash right now but this is SO exciting! I just love having options!!!

The BP location is an adventure, and truly overwhelming the first time you go. I live much closer to the original location, but have heard that the Burnsville location is amazing. I may need to grab a friend and take a field trip. From the website, it looks to be set up more like a quilt shop. The BP location is very much a warehouse and it's difficult to get find what you want in the stacks of bolts on the racks.

I have been to the one in Brooklyn Center. It has so much fabric. I am excited to hear one is coming to Burnsville. It is close to my brother's so when I visit him, I will have visit this one.
