Staten Island JoAnne's closing
I stopped in Fri and got 75 percent off the remainder of a few bolts. Pretty good deal. They have no needles, pins or ruler's left. Letting those nearby know they might catch a good deal on fabric, but call first to see if they still have their doors open. Bad news, I now have to fork over 15 bucks to go over the bridge to buy a spool of thread or needle. Internet shipping is another option. Please fellow quilter's let me know what exist in Bklyn or Manhattan. Thank you

My neighborhood JoAnn's is closing also. So sad - it has been my "go to" store for close to 20 years. When it closes we will have nothing close by. The nearest JoAnn's, Hobby Lobby, or Michael's will be over 30 minutes away - that is, if I go when there is no traffic which in Houston means about 4 a.m. Sundays. Unfortunately the stores aren't open then! LOL
Well, looking on the bright side - my quilting budget may get back under control!
