Tan Featherweight for sale...
#12
I have the white/celery colored FW. It's fun to use and nice to take to classes. If I had to choose a FW or the Singer 301, I'd go with the 301. It's simply the best stitching machine I have ever sewed on. An excellent condition 301 shouldn't be more than $150, that's all I'd pay for one. I find them a lot at yard sales/thrift stores for about $40 - $75. They are much more common to find then the FW. They are ugly so many people pass them by.

I am buying a FW from a friend of mine. I am soooo excited. I have wanted one for years. My New Home is so heavy and taking it to class is next to impossible with fibromyalgia. I have researched FWs for a long time and have found the tan ones don't bring as much as the original 221. She has another 221 for sale for $350 if anyone is interested. Just PM me and I will give you contact info. I live in Illinois.
