You know, the Accuquilt Go! came down a lot in price over time. I think it sells now for less than half when it first came out. Hopefully the same will happen with the Big.

The worst part is you still have to buy the dies and they are expensive on top of the cost of the machine.

I think for a hobby you should get what you can afford. When was the last time you heard a fishing enthusiast say he / she needed to sell a lot of fish to buy that new fishing gadget?

So true!! Going to a pro footgame game cost about as much these days. DH can drop $500 at Bass Pro or John Deere in no time. His last hunting jacket was over $600 on sale. Did he need a new hunting jacket? Yes his old one wasn't made from the lighter warmer fabric that is available today. And he said he was getting older and weight made a big difference. Same with turning or not turning a Go for me. I preordered one for my Christmas present.

I have a GO! and it's getting harder to crank. Anyone have a suggestion on how to make it easier? Do they need oiling somewhere?

My Go is one of the first ones made. It has always been easy to crank even with six layers of fabric. I wonder if the new ones are made the same as the first ones.
