Thanks for this tut, I have a small quilt that I wasn't sure how to finish the edges, and it's scrappy, and this way would just finish it off.

Thank you so much for sharing this video with us. I typed up some instructions. Hopefully this is helpful to some of you.

MAKING FANCY PRAIRIE POINTS

Susan Cleveland www.Piecesbewithyou.com
You Tube- Making Fancy Prairie Points

Prairie Points with Decorative Stitching-

Cut a strip of fabric in your desired width. Fold in half (RS together) lengthwise. Stitch along folded edge with a decorative stitch. Cut strip in segments. If your original strip width was 3”, each segment should be 3” in length. Fold down both sides to create the prairie point.

Lined Prairie Points-

Cut strips of two different fabrics. The “lining” will be cut ½” wider than the “outer” strip. So if the “outer” strip measures 1-3/4” wide, the “lining” strip will measure 2-¼” wide. Sew the two strips together, and press to the narrower “outer” strip. Fold the strip in half, and cut into segments. The segment length equals the width measurement of the strip. With the “lining” side up, fold down both sides to create the prairie point.
