I have added a tutorial to my blog [http://www.SewHappy.Me] on Accurate Piecing. It offers my tips and advice with colour photos to help you to achieve those accurate points on triangles etc. To view the tutorial go to [http://www.sewhappy.me/tutorials/tips-accurate-piecing/]

I love this block pattern, I've made it many, many times too.
Pretty colors. Thanks for sharing your tip.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. Your tutorial finally opened my eyes and I got the DUH moment. I have been quilting for several years and have always had problems with my blocks and points not lining up right. Well, when looking at your tutorial, it dawned on me....... STARCH YOUR FABRIC before cutting. Talk about feeling stupid!!!!!!!!!!!! I will be so glad when I get done with my pinwheel quilt and start on something new to see how that works. I had almost gotten to the point of considering quitting sewing. I am now filled with renewed energy to try something new. (But first I have to finish my pinwheels.) My brain must have finally switched to ON. Thanks again Maiziedo

I am so-o-o-o pleased that you found the tutorial useful. It is great to know that after you after spending a good deal of time and effort trying to explain it, others are benefitting. However, starch alone may not be the magic solution for you if you don't take into account the other tips as well. But, it will certainly make a difference. So, good luck on your magical quilting journey and I hope many others will benefit from my advice too.

Thank you for the tutorial. You cannot read enough about the procedures you should practice when quilting.
