I have been using the 505 basting spray for several years, too. I use much less of the spray per quilt, by holding the can further from the quilt surface than in the video. I haven't had any come apart while quilting. I have been basting my quilts on the floor, and using the wall is a much better idea!

I spray basted the doll quilt. it worked great. Penny

Does the spray wash out when you wash the quilt after quilting? I wonder what the chemical residue will do down the road if it doesn't?
