That's how I first really got into quilting - cutting 5" fabric squares to make purses (with my Big SHOT).
Can you sizzix dies in an Accuquilt machine?
No unfortunately you can't. The sizzix dies are too thick. I have both the Big Shot and the Accuquilt. I didn't know you could use the Accuquilt dies with the Big Shot until I saw this video. Thanks!Originally Posted by caspharm

I saw this video yesterday and it was totally awesome! I have one of the older machines with lots of dies and e mailed them and got an answer right away. I can cut fabric with my sizzex. I am planing a fused free motion quilt project as we speak....A tea pot and cups quilt project Yay!! I am thinking of doing it with thirties reproduction fabrics...charm square will do fine....The apron pattern from Eleanore's latest block party pattern....see her media page to view and maybe incorporate some embroidered linens and doilies I have rescued from thrift shop bins...I think I will call it "Tea with Nana" I love planning a new quilt and know all I need is right there in my sewing room.
