Been longtime since I've seen Waverly but then I haven't had the need. Good to know. Wally is in my back yard.

I always thought of Waverly as decorating fabrics not quilting fabrics. I will need to check also.

Going today to check local Walmart. I don't understand the fabric buyers for Walmart, if they were educated about fabrics, they would see the fabric dept could be the most profitable dept in the store.

I went to walmart here today, ours just recently got fabric dept. back, and they had some waverly. Didn't see any solids, but did find some black with tiny white dots, and a couple other prints of it for 3.97 a yard. I would definitely buy it, I'm no expert about fabrics, but thought it had a nice hand.

The reason there are some thin RK Kona solids out there at fabric chains is because they are 2nd quality and don't meet up to RK standards. So they are sold to jobbers who then resale to chain stores. I use to work in the Home Dec department of House of Fabric and Waverly just made fabrics for draperies and stuff. I will have to check this fabric out at Walmart. THANKS for the post.

I recently purchased a piece of the waverly fabrics and it was as nice as the solid I purchased at the quilt store the day before. Very nice quality.

I just found the Waverly at my WM today too. Glad to know that it stands up well in the wash. Will be going back tomorrow to get some if the projected snow storm doesn't hit tonight.

Went to Wal Mart today (took daughter to get her food) so I had time (no DH) to look around and found a lot of Waverly fabrics in solids and prints and much of it coordinating and seems really nice, feels good. Will wash tonight and will most likely buy more next time I go.
