I've decided to call this method/technique "folded paper piecing" - I think the author/creator of this calls it something else.

I have folded paper to create the block pattern (see the PDA by bearisgray), but this is the "how to sew the pieces together" illustrated very well - and where I got the "AHHHH - THAT's what was meant" moment.

Someone else mentioned/wrote about it in one of her posts, but this has pictures.

Thank you, twiddletails.

Thanks bear, but I find that method too confusing, too many steps, and that many folds just boggles my little pee brain. I love my method so that's what I will stick to.

I think this is why quilting is such a great activity - there are so many ways to create things!

I love this method and use it all the time. It's super easy to do, much easier than conventional PP.
