Red face A Quilt Fiction podcast is fun to listen to while sewing.

If you like quilting stories, The Quiltfiction Podcast is up and running! I have listened to the first 5 espisodes that begin with Friendship Album, 1933, a work of historical fiction by Frances O'Roark Dowell. Here is the link to the wonderful quilt stories. You will take a walk back in time as you listen.

Thanks for that link. I will be listening to these stories. Is this the first podcast series that she's presented? I looked through her site but could not find any other books that were read on the site/blog. I would like to be able to listen to Birds in the Air & Margaret Goes Modern. Thanks.

I just finished listening to Episode 4. Hope she has more to come soon. This is fun to listen to. I've never been a reader but listening is fun for me.

Yes, I think this is the first podcast series presented by the author. I would also like to hear the authors other books on her podcast. We will have to stay tuned to find out or contact the author with your request.

Ok, I clicked on link, took me to itunes(never been there!) and I clicked on subscribe, thinking if there's a charge I'll back out......just opened up episode one...seems to be no charge? Or I'm I going to get blasted somewhere?

When I clicked on the link I just scrolled down to about 1/2 way down the page & there were the Episodes. So I just clicked on the episode & started listening. It didn't take me to iTunes but further down the page you can subscribe to iTunes. I did not subscribe at this time. I don't think there is a charge for this podcast that she has. I think I read somewhere that it is free.

OK, I am half way through episode 2 and I am hooked. Come join me! Lovely story of wonderfully individual women who have a love of quilting as a common thread in their lives.
