sorry to hear this I've had mine for several years with no problems. Now did I just jinx myself!! But I still love them.

I have one on each of my machines, need to use it no matter what colors I'm sewing

I have one that is similar to that. I found it at a thrift store for $5. It has a long bendable neck and work great. I have since found 2 more at thrift stores and so I have one on each of my machines that I use on a regular basis.

I can't sew without mine. I have had it for years and move it from machine to machine (I have three) Its a wonderful product

Quilt in a day has them for 26.49 today.
