Pinterest is only pictures, but unlike other picture websites such as Flickr, the pictures actually link to websites. It's a visual bookmarking tool, which is awesome because sometimes I can't remember what something is called, but I can remember what something looks like!

    Thanks for the link!

I have been looking at Pinterest the last couple of days and thinking about joining it. Your link really got me thinking I am missing a lot!

What they have depends on who is pinning. I see a ton of pins that ARE only pictures and when you click on them, they just go to a picture. That is annoying when it's something like a recipe and they pinned or repinned from an image. I've also seen pins that go to the homepage of a site or blog and then it's nearly impossible to find the actual article that was pinned. I think a lot of people don't understand proper pinning and a lot of people repin without checking the link first. I have a lot of tutorials on my boards. Other than my "ideas only, no tutes" board I only pin actual tutorials or patterns.

That's what I found just now. Had to join Pinterest only to find that the two videos I was interested in were nowhere to be found in the links. Total waste of time.

Gale, thanks for your link on Pinterest. Your organization has renewed my interest in joining. Thanks again.
