I 'googled' crochet Christmas tree to see if I could find the pattern I made years ago from Craft & Things Magazine, and came up with this page. It has just loads of pictures of crochet Christmas trees and ornaments. Just clock on the picture and it will take you to the pattern. I thought I'd share it with all of you.

ENJOY!!!! There are 34 pages of crochet there, and I found the tree that started my thread crochet way back in 19??
It is called Crochet An Old Time Christmas, and is on one of the pages in the 30's I think. If you click on the picture it will take you to where the tree and other patterns are shown. It took me a while to get them to download,(dial-up, you know) and then I clicked on the place where it said download, and I got the pattern for the tree, light post and couple!!! I think I did it in no 10 crochet thread, as I didn't know what 5 was, and it turned out OK.

Here's the pdf of the tree, light post, and the couple, in case any of you want to make it too.
