erasers
That was me Threadhead that put the erasers on the board, they helped. I also found this ring at Walmart I have not tried it out on a quilt, but I've played around with it. It cost 9.99. It is made of some kind of rubber on the outside.

Quilting
ok, I've tried out the erasers, exercise rubber ring, finger tips, rubber surgical gloves for quilting. What works for me for quilting is: !. rubber surgical gloves, 2. erasers, 3. exercise rubber ring 4. finger tips.
Gloves for the larger/all quilts.
Easers keeps my hands from getting tired, they help.
The rubber ring, not good for large quilts with small throats, smaller quilts that you don't have to fold/roll up, I think the ring is to large, a small ring would be better.
Finger tips fall off, I had higher hopes for them.
