I'm contemplating buying the stick-on LED light that shines on the needle but I'm not sold on LED lights in the first place - they're not bright enough. Do any of you have the Bendable Bright Light and love it/hate it? It's 35 bucks - plus shipping! That's a lot of fabric I could buy instead ...

Here is one that is a lot cheaper!
I like the LED, esp. where there are more than one bulbs. The light is intense and your eyes adjust so it seems to be brighter after a bit of use.

This is the one I have...

http://www.bendablebrightlight.com/

Even though I did not pay full price for it, I would not hesitate to do so.

I really like this product. It is bright and direct-able. This is one case of truth in advertising -- it does exactly what it says it does without fuss.

PS I have a couple of bendable LED book lights for other reasons and they are not the same.

I love my bendable light, put it on my Pfaff. The light is awesome. I bought it at a quilt show for 26.00 and have not been one bit sorry. I always say, you get what you pay for. I don't think I would want the battery operated one. JMHO....

LED battery life is generally 20-50 hours. the cheap one on ebay uses watch batteries that cost about $.25 each and can be purchased in bulk pgs. at dollar stores, walmart, amazon, etc.

My machine light is good, but my old eyes wanted extra light, and my pocketbook is tight, so I tried the cheap ones. Works fine for me. ;)
