I was bringing my quilt documentation up to date last night and realized I had 2 quilt tops that had not been sandwiched and quilted.
I have searched and searched--I am sure they are folded and laying together, where ever they are-but WHERE IS THAT??? I'll keep looking. I'm sure they are around here somewhere.

Oh I understand that frustration. I looked for over a year for a shirt pattern that is already altered for dh. I found it properly stored and up on the shelf in the corner but OUT IN FRONT of the closet.

How frustrating. I have lost fabric but not a quilt top.......yet. We all know it's going to happen one day.

I had a top of a small wall hanging that I wanted to measure. Turns out it was in between two others that were done. I know how that feels. I just told myself that they have to be in this room someplace. I will keep my fingers crossed for you.

Well, I now have the best organized fabric closets--sorted out a lot of "give away" leaving some open shelving (amazing), BUT still NO QUILT TOPS. I will be pleasantly surprised when they finally turn up. They were not all that special -- one was a tube quilt and the other was a disappearing nine patch --both pretty much scrappy quilts. However, I liked them enough I was planning to get them quilted by my long arm quilter. Oh well, what would life be without some mysteries. Maybe I should check with my quilter and be sure they are not on her shelves! I'm pretty sure they are not.

Don't leave any stone unturned. It's always in the last place you look.
