Thank you all so very much I appreciate your help. I must try this foot I'm pretty sure I have one for the White machine and if not I know I have one for the Brother. I am so glad I found this board so much useful info but I need to spend more time sewing than reading. Thanks again. Sue

The one I have for my White machine is not very big but the lines seem to go across rather than down. I'm guessing that I must be missing something here. I know it sounds dopey but I would thing the lines would have to be going down the foot instead of across. Please help me. Thanks so much in advance sometimes something just doesn't click and this is it. Sue

Thanks, I guess that's what I'll have to do. I think I'm thinking it does something different than what I'm thinking. I'll let you know if I ever figure it out sounds different. I hate having to mess around with stuff such a waste of time it seems but I guess the only way to use it. Sue
