10 top reasons I love quilting
#1
:-) I love the challenge I get from each n every quilt I make
:-) I love the pleasure and satisfaction from each finished quilt
:-) I love the delight of the face of the new owner of one of my quilts
:-) I just adore all the beautiful fabrics and threads
:-) I love the de-stressing and contentment I get when quilting
:-) I love the making them for kiddiewinks, and know the pleasure they give
:-) I love seeing all the fur-babies enjoying our hobby
:-) I just love all the wonderful friends I have made with my hobby
:-) I love being able to show people how to quilt and see their delight
Most astonishingly I love what I have just achieved
I have just shortened 6 pairs of new trousers and I had all the different coloured threads, stitches and pressing things to hand to make it easy, I never knew I could do it but thanks to quilting it was a job very well done.
The one thing I don't love about quilting is never having enough money to buy all the fabric and notions I would love to own

Isn't it fun! I think that is why quilting has survived. There is room for everyone at any skill level and people are willing to help you and admire your work. You don't get that if you go out and buy a "bed in a bag"!
