Default someone showed how to make twister ruler

I found a posting someplaceon the board how someone marked a 3-1/2" ruler to cut out the pinwheel twister blocks. I forgot to bookmark it. Does anyone recall where to find this? Thanks.

I tried that and my ruler slipped and slipped and just could not grip the fabric. DH held the ruler down and I cut, and it still was difficult. I bought the tool with the lovely grippy things on the bottom and it was a piece of cake to do the quilt. I usually am all for short cuts, but this was something that I am so glad I bought the tool

If you make your own template and are having issues with it sliding, go to your local frame shop and buy bump-ons. You can attach them to the back and it won't slide, however, it may cause an issue with some rotary cutters because it raises the height of the template. There are 2 styles we use in framing, one is more flat and the other is more rounded...try to get the flatter one if possible.

Our LQS sells those little clear rubber gripper dots, lots of them in a package. either to share or use on other rulers ...
