2 for 5.00 yard quilting fabric?

My hi-school pharmacy store locally is having a sale for quilting fabric. 2 yards for 5$. I bought 2 yards and am going to wash it, etc. Is this a good buy or not?

If it's a GOOD quality fabric, "we" Canadians pay upward of $15/meter (39") so I would say it was a great deal....

2.50 a yard for fabric?? Sign me up, makes me wish I had money to travel to go buy it!!

Walmart fabric here ranges from 4.47 a yard to 8 a yard depending. I used to live in OK and there was a Walmart there that had $1 and $2 fabrics, but not here. Then the LQS's have fabric starting at 6 a yard and goes up to over 10. Ridiculous!
