I just finished a Turning Twenty again - that used the 20 fat quarters to frame blocks of other fabric which had 20 machine embroidery designs ( you could substitute a focus fabric instead ) and it was spectacular! I strongly suggest you review the Turning Twenty books and find one you like............the black and white will be beautiful!

I made a Pointless Wonder with b&w. i used red for the sashing. This is an really easy pattern. You stack FQs, slas according to directions. Move pieces round, etc. each block calls for 1 FQ with each star containing parts of several fabrics. You can google pointless wonder quilt to find the pattern.

Cut 3", 6"9" squares stack the 3 on top each other ,top stitch around using 1\4 seam allowance looks neat or cut 5 " square and out line with sashing of 2.5 " so many ideas!!

Yes thanks everyone for the wonderful ideas and was wondering what a Carpenter's Wheel would look like in black and white on white with maybe a yellow and black borders. Kicking around that idea too.

Quilter's club of America is doing a mystery quilt right now that used 20 FQs. Maybe you would like to check that out.
