Ahhhh Wildyard, your welcome. That is the main reason I like to drop in on this one as well and the UFO, both are so encouraging and helpful. That is how I finished a top was here getting a couple of ideas on how to do setting blocks. is fun to see the UFOs progress.

I have been reading about what everyone is working on, so I decided to post what I am doing this month. I am using some Boom 8 blocks to make a baby quilt for a yet-to-be-born baby girl! Its the funny little lady bug blocks. If I don't get off the QB and back to the sewing part she will beat be here! I will post a pic on the challenge thread when I am done.

OBW: The mama is having twins and my sister in Vermont is making the little boys quilt! She's not done either....it runs in the family! lol

For March I am going to be working on a quilt I have everything cut for at a retreat next weekend. My goal is to get the top all together and then be ready to quilt it when I get home. Then I will start assembling some swap blocks into a lap quilt.

I enjoyed that ladybug fabric missgigglewings. Will be nice to see it in a quilt.

We are setting March goals huh, well then, I am going to finish that Broncos quilt that I have been working on for several months. If things go my way, then it should be done by next week. I am then going to finish a project that I started the first of the year, a mystery quilt, that i do not want to turn into a total ufo. If I get those done, will finish up some Civil War Blocks that I want done for someone. These three things will make me feel accomplished. Last year I was doing 10 a month. I am wondering how in the world I did that.

My March goal is to finish the last 3 rows of my Irish Chain quilt - and make a dent into sewing the rows together. I've got no idea how long it will take me, so I'm not making any promises, but maybe I can finish sewing all the rows together.

My goal is to finish one UFO a month. My March UFO is attached. The attachment is actually a EQ drawing but the center piecing is done. I have pieced the back by using 6 inch wide strips of the fabrics used in the front. Now all that needs to be done are the borders, sandwiching, quilting and doing the binding. Did I say, "That's all....."? Well here's hoping.

March? Finish the scrappy mystery that's on a machine being FMQ. Finish the Spicy Spiral and start another. Do paintmejudy's new mystery starting tomorrow. That's enough for now.

I have 2 UFOs I want to finish this month. The first is a rail fence from a class I took with Holice last fall. The blocks are together; rows need to be sewn together and borders put on. Then on to quilting and binding it.
The second is also from a class last fall that I took with Debby Kratovil, her Good Luck quilt from the book "Supersize Em". Hopefully, both will be finished. I'm ready to move onto something totally new, but can't until at least these two UFOs are finished.

EmmaS oh I like your quilt. What size are the 4P's made from? Do you usually use just colors in your EQ drawings? I'm anxious to see a completed photo.

OK: The overall quilt block is 18 inches. There are 6 rows so each block measures 3 inches. Each blade for the stars was paper pieced. Just easier to get the points nice and sharp. When I am doing a scrappy quilt I usually just use misc colors for EQ since there can be hundreds in the real thing. I do try to approximate the colors of the borders but the actual quilt and what is in my stash will dictate my final choice. A very kind member of this board taught me how to download from fabric lines but am using the method to get a diversity of color rather then any specific fabric.

I am anxious to complete this one. In another thread members have made some great suggestions that I hope to incorporate in the borders. Well if the schedule holds, cross fingers, it will be done in a month.
