I just posted a question about What Say You All about my 4-Patch Posy. The repeat was larger than yours, but the quilt top shows how much varied the different sized strips make. The center four were 8.5, the star centers were 3, and the blocks with outlining fabric were 4.5. To my notion, six and eight-figured layers make the most interesting blocks, but the 4-patches are infinitely easier, and there is no waste, but there is little waste with the six and eight pieces because you flip the template around.
