I don't have one, but I could make one easy enough. One quilt could come down so a piece of felt could go up. But before I went to the trouble I wanted to see how many used one in the making of their Bargellos.

I always do with a bargello because if I have gotten to far ahead of myself and sewed something wrong you can see it once it is on the wall.

I use a design wall for whatever I am making, sometimes seeing it from a distance gives a new outlook plus with scrappy quilts its easy to move blocks around for a more pleasing look.

No design wall, use your camera, I use my Polaroid a lot, for placement and choice of colours. No I don't own a cell phone or a digital camera. I still use my antiquities!

I don't use a design wall either. But I do use the floor or the dining room table for small baby quilts. I had a DW but I never used it so I took it down. I think everyone has there own style when it comes to designing. So just use what you like.
