Default 606 Spray for Applique - works GREAT!

I just used the 606 spray to applique my circles on my blocks. First...it does not smell, dries right away, you can place on your fabric once sprayed and does not stick until you iron it. I have the pictures on my blog/website...love it so far. I am still in the process of making my quilt. I am going to not so the seams they claim that your edges will not frey. I cut my circle a few months a go so some are slightly freyed but I can clip them. I can wait to get my quilt done so I can throw it in the washer to see how it stays.

Great! I'd like to find out how it stands up to washing, so I'll be watching this thread for updates.

Is this the same company that makes 505?

I just did a Google search for this and it is the same company. They refer to this as spray fusible web. Looks interesting

I think, this 606 will make an applique out of paper that you can fuse to fabric. I think this is a really neat invention. Would like to know how a fusible will wash.... will watch this thread.

Do you mean that you use the 606 spray instead of, for instance, steam-a-seam?

505 is also made from the same company. and yes you would use this instead of steam a seam. Its very light...so far love it...I will be FMQ'ing it this weekend hoping my needle will like it. And the big test will be the washing machine.
