Default Come Virtually Quilt with me Today - 10/14!!

Today is the day!! Virtual Quilt Day. No rules, just tell us your goals, then come back and check in. let us know how it's going, offer some encouragement, and hopefully get loads of sewing done!! We love to see pictures of progress as well. Join in any time you can! This is just a fun way to get that all day sew in feel without having to lug your sewing machine to a shop.

My goals for today:

1. Draw at least 3 new patterns
2. Make up samples for 2 patterns
3. Take pictures of samples

Not too ambitious, but I have learned that time can get away pretty quickly on these days!!

So what are your goals for today?

Cheers!
Rachel

Good Morning,

Working on some coffee now that the dogs have been fed.
My goal for today is to finish putting the borders on my batik quilt and if I get that done maybe try another 30 minute tote bag.

Cheers back at you Rachel.

Good morning! I am going to take a while to get going this morning, not moving too fast today.

My plans are to make more snowflakes on the embroidery machine. My goal is 24, I think I have 12 done. I also have 2 jelly roll strippy quilts to sandwich and quilt on the long arm, and a vintage fabric quilt that needs the piano key border attached before sandwiching. I also promised a friend I would make her DGKs some christmas ornaments with some of the embroidery thread she brought me yesterday. I also have a bunch of Christmas fabric that I want to turn into something, maybe table runners or something.

I'll check back in once I get going.

Good Morning everyone. I am headed for the third day of a retreat, so yes, I will be quilting all day. My goal is to finish a Snoopy quilt for my 42 year old daughter and start on a Christmas runner. Happy sewing :-)

I'm up and ready for the day. First to early church, then a stop to see my DD and her family ( my 2 mos old DGS) and then home to quilt.
I have a customer quilt to longarm and while that is being done I hope to continue to piece a quilt I've designed. OR I will start a new one with fabric I've had for a little while.

DH is sick, so we will see how the day actually goes......
Also have to iron his work shirts for the week.

Great idea. I have a fantastic sewing studio in my basement. We could have some sewing marathons down there. I'll PM you.
