If it's any help, I compiled a list of acronyms/terms and posted it on my website as a pdf file. You're welcome to download it, if you like:

JUST A WORD OF CAUTION: I came across this thread Wednesday evening because I have been having a few problems with acronyms, too. I went to ajpadilla's website and made a copy of the pdf file referenced in the above post. When I closed out of that site my computer went BALLISTIC, saying I had an infection and a strange antispyware program (not the one I use) popped up to 'clean up the infection' (which I knew to X out of), but it turns out I DID indeed get a virus or infection of some kind. My DH got it cleaned up after hours and hours of work, but I just thought I'd post and let you all know what happened to me. I'll probably make a new topic on the subject, as well, because I sure don't want this to happen to others.

To ajpadillo: It may be entirely an unusual coincidence that this happened when I was on your web site. It may be, however, that something has been imbedded into that pdf file unbeknownst to you. You might want to get someone to check it out. Viruses are no fun at all.

Truly sorry this happened to you, but this is a coincidence. I don't know if you had something else open at the time, but I can assure you we have not one, or two, but three different filters on our each of our computers and on the server where the website is hosted. In any case, we have also double-checked and verify this file is completely clean. The problem you experienced came from some other source.

Because UFO (Unfinished Objects) has a double meaning - whereas UFP does not. Never heard of UFP sightings. lol Theoretically, it should only be a UP because "unfinished" is one word.
