Thread: Accuquilt Cutting Mats

Has anyone cut up an old cutting mat and used them as the accuquilt cutting mat? Just asking before I cut up an old mat.

hmmm...now you have me thinking....there must be something that is cheaper than the mats they sell that would work the same.

I haven't but that's an idea. Please let us know how it works out if you do it.

I think the subject has cropped up on the Yahoo site, and it's not generally approved of - some suggested that our quilt cutting mats might be a bit thicker, and you could jeopardize your guarantee if anything went wrong.
