I just got my new accuquilt go today. I also ordered a 6 1/2 inch square but didn't realize I needed a different cutting mat. Hopefully Joann's near my house has one.

Buy extra mats- they really are 'disposable' if you use it a lot like I do.. I can go thru a mat easily in a month. And that's with flipping it and inching it over at every cut.

I thought the 6.5" square would use the 10" mat like the value die that comes with the machine. Is it a bigger die?

6.5 die #55000 uses the 10x10 mat ( same as the value die for the go)

Is there a different 6.5 die for the baby go? if so the mat has to be smaller than the 10x10

I order a lot of the cutting mats when I find a sale. Many times I buy the biggest and cut it down to the smaller sizes I need. Odd the very first mats that I bought along with the Go three years ago are still good! The ones I've bought in the last year have worn out much faster.

I have been thinking about getting a Accuguilt Go. Do you find it easy to use and is it worth the money to buy one?

Check out Jo-Ann's for a mat, they are having a great sale going on right now.

It's very easy to use for me. As it being worth the money that is a matter of opinion. Some say it's too expensive a toy, others see it as a quality tool. I would buy another in a second. I have the Go and the Go Baby. The time it saves is worth much more to me then the cost of it. I have about 1/4" fabric waste around the die. Not enough to faint over.
