How about we make up an Acronym Glossary? I just saw on a post where someone questioned was "EQ" was (Electric Quilt - quilt designing computer program). And while I've seen any number of Quilt Terms Glossaries, I've never seen one for Acronyms.

I know a few times ... okay, more than a few ... I have wondered about some of these myself. I remember asking many, many, many years ago what "BOM" was (Block of the Month). And I wondered once if "DDD" might have been about their "darling devoted dog!"

I'd be happy to accumulate the info as it comes in and put it into a use-able format and upload it for all of us. But if there is already something out there and I've missed it, please let me know.

Whatcha think?

I was given a reply when I first saw a few I could not figure out. Some aren't on it, so if you take this and add to it, maybe you can at least have one to tag up beside your computer.

Thanks, friends. That got things off to a wonderful start. I think perhaps what's needed is a list of Quilt-blog acronyms with a few general chat acronyms thrown in.

That started a significant list and I'll add to it over the next few and see if I can't get it reduced to a one-page download.

Appreciate your quick input.
