I was making a lap quilt for my husband and realized after I put the batting in and started quilting that it really should be a little longer. Is there any way at this point to increase the length?

I would think that adding an extra border, using the quilt as you go method would work. Good luck and share what you decide.

as Chicca said, QAYG is a good option. but if you haven't quilted near one end yet, you can add a piece of batting to it and another row of blocks and a piece on the backing, if you have them. if you post a picture, it would be easier to make suggestions :)

Thank you Nancy, I think that is a good suggestion. Thanks for the fix.

Or add to each end for a more balanced look?
