I have some plastic prewound and they are awful. I can't find the end of the thread to start them. MyDD has some and hers work great. I have never heard of the paper ones. Hope someone gives us more info. Thanks for asking this question. :-D

I use the paper ones in my embroidery machine and I order mine from ebay. So far there has always been someone selling them when I needed them.

Did you ever find out where you can buy these bobbins. There are plenty of L bobbins but Admiral L 24 is not to be found? I need them as well.
