Thanks--it really is! I found myself going outside, looking at the shades of color in the grass and the trees to try to keep myself on track. I had a piece of brown fabric with pink in it that I wasn't sure about, but that day when I went out to look at colors, one of my surprise lillies was blooming, so I took it as a sign, and the fabric went in.

Perhaps I err in calling them earthtones, but that's the only term I could think of. Thanks to everyone for the comments--no one said, "Eeewwww!" so I guess I'm good to go.

Maybe 'Nature Tones' would be a more accurate description. Very pretty, regardless!

When I read Earth Tones I thought of all shades of Tans, Browns, and Beige and maybe some soft rusts. I like your Choices. You have "Real Earth Colors". (Grass, Water, Garden, Plains and Desert and Mountains..). She will Love it ! !

I like it. I like the splashes of red and orange. The question is are these colors that your mom likes? I think too often we make things in our preferred colors and do not take into consideration the colors that the recepients of our gifts like. Think about what colors your mom wears and uses in her home.
