Hi,
I am attempting a GFG. I really don't like the look when I add the pathway to one block then letting it become the pathway on the next block. Can I put the pathway on all blocks there by having a double pathway. Is this doable (is that a word). In my vision it makes the flowers float. Plus I won't need quite as many flowers.
TIA
Trudy

It is your quilt, so you can do anything you'd like. And I think a double pathway would look nice.

I think that would be very pretty. If your not sure, just take some and lay them out and see how you like the results.

A double pathway is "do-able", will work and will be very pretty. Good luck!

Thank you so much for letting me know it was doable. I do have two completed and I do like the look. Just didn't want to do them all and find out it had to be ripped apart. A friend told me I need 4 yards of fabric for the pathway. That sounds like an awful lot of fabric.

Yes you can put the outer ring around all of your GFG before putting them together. I've seen it done both ways and they are equally pretty.

I'm not sure but it doesn't seem like too much if you're doing a large quilt and a double pathway. If it is, oh well you'll have some to use in another quilt or as a purse lining.
