Default Buggy Barn "Folk Art Flowers"

I am taking a class on this pattern in July. It is in the "Perennially Crazy" Buggy Barn book. I love flowers so fell in love with the quilt when I saw it. Have any of you made this? I am debating if I should only buy the 4 fat quarters for a wall hanging or if I should buy the 20 fat quarters to make the 52" x 70" quilt. I don't have a lot of sewing time so I am worried that this pattern may be time-consuming--but maybe it is not. Any thoughts from anyone who has made this pattern or any of the other Buggy Barn patterns?

I made the Star block of the Buggy Barn quilt because it was the easiest one and the teacher recommended chain sewing. I was so sick of chain sewing by the time I finished my lap size quilt. One gal was making the flower block (I wanted to make it but the teacher - a friend - talked me out of making it for my first Buggy Barn block - said it would take too long) and she was on her second block at the end of the day where everyone else was making the star block and had about 10 blocks done. Her blocks were very pretty though. Made me wish I had done the flower block. But I snowballed all my star blocks and they look awesome now. If I could do it over I'd do the flower block. It was very, very pretty!

I have made a heart and star Buggy Barn quilt, and I think the process is very fast, and the blocks were large, so to me, it went quickly. You could always just buy the fabric for the wall hanging, and then later buy more for the quilt you'd like, if you see that the process is fast enough for your time frame. Enjoy! I did!
