What a great tip. Thank you!

I have gadgets, from quilt shows, that I just had to have and now have no idea what they were suppose to do for me. At the time, when I saw them demonstrated, I thought that if I had that tool I'd be the fastest quilter in the west. If they are heavy enough they make great paper weights to hold the pattern flat while I sew.

Thanx for all those hints on why I might have bought three of these flexible, thin, kitchen chopping sheets.....but none of them rang that bell in my head that tells me that's why! However I am going to pull one out and keep it handy....maybe one day that light will go on again!

I have seen them used in the bottom of tote bags/purses where you want extra strength.

I use them for cutting up fruits, vegetables, etc. I think that is what they are for. I do like them for that. They would make good templates too.

If you have a Silhouette paper cutter, or some other brand, you can you them for replacement mats.

My husband suggested that they were purchased for the kitchen and wound up in the sewing cave by mistake. I know I've put things where they don't belong.

I buy cheap kitchen mats, which are thin and flexible and cut up to make strong bag bottoms. Hope I'm talking about same as LoriEl.
