Default Aleen's tacky spray

Has anyone used Aleene's tacky spray for basting their quilts. I want to try a different baste for the Sullivan's I used to use has changed formulas and I hate it now. I have used the 505 spray and worked fine but I is so expensive and doesn't go very far. I did try the Aleene's on a scrap piece and it seemed to hold about like the 505.

Did you wash the sample to make sure that it all came out. I would not want the glue to stay in the quilt. There are a lot of people in my family with allergies.

I still have a can left of Sullivan's. Really sad that they changed the formula.

Me too! I really like it and its price! Still have 3 cans left

** Make sure you get the "re positionable". They also make a "permanent" variety.
