That's a gorgeous quilt! Use the melon pattern. It adds interest and frames the quilt, too.

It is a lovely quilt! How can you go wrong with red and white!? I think whatever you do will only enhance the quilt further.

oh I like it. if you want it to fill the border more you can always go back 1/4 inch on either side of it. cable design I believe.
