    Almost

We are in Passau, Germany and were walking through town and there was a big sewing machine store. Lots of machines, a wall of fabrics and thread and notions galore. Closed today!! Insert sad face here. We are pulling out later so no opportunity to go back. That is a place I could have found a souvenir or three.

At least you didn't have the sticker shock when you see what fabric costs over there.

I see a lot of QB members from other country's buy fabric from the USA and even with shipping save a fortune on yard goods.

Oh No! A similar thing happened to me in Williams, AZ. I was walking to a quicky mart to purchase bottled water and passed a quilt shop that had closed 30 minutes earlier. The ladies were still in there but the door was locked. I wanted to say, but I'm from out of town!

Oh, that's really a disappointment! You're suitcases could have handled the souvenirs. We stopped at a RxR shop last week and were disappointed that it was closed. The owner was inside and opened for us! So sometimes that can happen. Happy trails and may any other quilt shops be open for you!!
