Has anyone used the Altos cutting system? I have a few pics of my attached. I just love it!

You slide your fabric under the rail in the back and slide the clips in on each end to hold it tight.

The ruler slides to the size cut you need.

The cutting guide is attached to a rail and can be moved 90 degrees to either side. And can be attached to the rail on the back also.

I have it and I love it. Fabric doesn't move, ruler doesn't move. Much more accurate cuts.

I bought mine last week, and it was a little over $200.

I've had mine for about 13 years...I can't really cut without it.

I've posted my problem with this before. Unless I put the metal gauge in the exact same place on the fabric every time I cut I get cuts that are not exact from one cut to the next. If the bottom of the fabric is not lined up perfectly exactly straight on the mat line I get the V when cutting strips. I was spending more time getting the fabric in place and lining up the gauge to the exact spot it was taking me a long time to make one cut. What am I doing wrong?

I bought one last fall and I LOVE it. In fact I talked my sister into getting one . She got it today and she is already in love with it. I used to hate cutting fabric, could never cut straight. Now I enjoy cutting and my cutting is much more accurate. I would hate to be without it. I ordered mine directly from their website. It cost $209 plus shipping , which I think was about $26.00. Well worth it.
