Oh my! But it is broken down into sections and it is paper piecing - we have no idea what your skill level is, but you won't improve if you don't push yourself. A friend of mine signed up for a pp class, was unable to attend so sent me. I had never heard of it before that evening and was able to keep up. In fact, it was fun to see all the points match up.

Have fun with it! I am sure you are going to turn out a fantastic quilt.

it's very ambitious-looking... but, as others have said, you learn and improve by pushing the envelope. show us your progress

would you believe I've only just begun doing paper piecing????

Yes, it is slightly daunting, but I'm going to jump right on in there and have a go...lots of practice with scraps before and, and lots of tutorials should do the trick. And there is always the wealth of knowledge that is the members here.

As we say in Australia "she'll be rite mate!" lol

My goodness but that's a LOT of points. I really want to see that when it's done.

First off it is not like the regular paper piecing. The directions are very detailed and as long as you follow instructions and hopefully have a certified Judy Niemeyer instructor you will have not problems. One of the first quilts I did was a JN and it turned out great...If I do say so myself. You go for it girl!!!!!!! Be sure to post a picture of it when you are done

It's beautiful and if I had a chance to take such a class, I'd jump at it if at all possible!

It's lovely! Wish I could join in I've nearly finished Judy's 'Raindrops' - I loved every minute of it. It was only the second time I'd ever paper-pieced. I think it took me longer to decide what colour went with what, than it did to sew it, lol. The background will be navy batiks.
