Hi all..........does anyone know where i can find a pattern for the grandmother's fan? Not the pattern where it is sewn to a square block but rather pieced.......made in 3 sections. TIA

It seems like the book "Lap Quilting" by Georgia Bonesteel has a completely pieced Grandmother's Fan block. The focus of the book is hand quilting but there are a lot of block patterns in it.

You might check your library. The two local libraries I use both have it.

I just looked, and "Lap Quilting" only has one that is appliqued on. I made a sampler with one that was pieced, but I can't for the life of me think where I got the pattern. I remember having to hunt for it, though.
